The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.                     Proverbs 18:10

Back then, I was terrified to venture out, I cried all the time.

 Daily I worried about how I was going to make it.

How will I pay my bills?, What if I lost my job?, what will happen to me?

Today a beautiful Change has possessed me!

Oh how you rescued me from all my fears, all my woes, all my cares.

Now with confidence I fly, not fearing the winds, not fearing the storms, the rains or the challenges of life.  I brave them all because you go with me. For I ride with Jesus.

My defender- mighty and strong-My shield

My fortress and Rearguard

My Battle axe and Banner

Mighty warrior, Lion of Judah, you prevail to defend your people Israel.

Once I was a captive daughter  now I’m set free by the blood of the Lamb

Once I was desolate and defeated but now I am protected,defended, restored and covered under the shadow of your wings

My hope is in your name O Lord! My eyes look to you O Lord. My hope is in the name of the Lord

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,  which cannot be shaken but endures forever.  2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore.  Psalms 125:1-2  
    

 

There’s no place that I can go and be absent from your presence,  oh Lord God of Heavens armies.  If I had the ability to go back to yesterday, I would find you there.  If I had the ability to advance ahead to tomorrow,  I would still find you there waiting  for me as well.  Great and Awesome one, beginning and the end. 

Limiting yourself, choosing to exercise great mercy, patience and long suffering allowing me time to walk with you How great you are.   Bit by bit you reveal another piece of yourself to me.  Sending my mind  spinning in awe and amazement!   I can do nothing else but break forth into spontaneous praise and thanksgiving, for what only you have made possible.

I walk through the open doors you have given me access to.  I draw nearer to you and into your secret garden.  My heart hears your voice and a willingness rises up within me to follow your timely suggestions.

The possibilities are endless for what God can do with the one who will worship him. The one who will seek to draw near to know him and develop a relationship with him. As we come away to spend time in our father’s presence  let this thought simmer in our minds that “The possibilities are endless with God”     

Here in your presence Lord,  we shake off guilt, shame, worry and fear.  We hold onto you the one who has the answers and the solutions to whatever it is that we need.  From our hearts we reach to touch you, to show you our  Appreciation for all that you do.

O come let us give him Praise and Adoration today

I DON’T KNOW HOW YOU DO, WHAT YOU DO YOU!  

By divine design, the sun, moon, stars, planets and galaxies all exist without incident.   The universe performs its role in unison to your  desire. You bring order and make all things new. You provide sustenance  and shelter to every living creature that belongs to you. 

  • Not one tiny sparrow falls to the ground without your knowledge! 
  • There is no end to your awesomeness!   

My Lord, like the universe, I desire is to perform my role, fulfill my purpose in unison to your desire.  Methodically restoring order and balance to my life, you give new strength and vision.  Sheltering and sustaining my life

Responding to me even before, my mouth could ever make request.  You understand the intimate nature of who I am.  I exist because you ordained it to be so.  You see all the stages of me and hold each one in your hands.    A work of Art already complete.  Surely, I’m not absent from your eyes   You own me and I belong to you.  I am not my own, I belong to you. 

  • My Soul waits for you,
  • My mind waits for you,
  • My heart waits for you      .

There is no end to your Power and might!    O Lord our Lord, how Excellent is thy name in all the earth!
