TO LIVE FOR GOD,

I MUST BE READY TO DIE TO MYSELF

“O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven and earth. You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion”. 2 Chronicles 6:14

WILLINGLY………………. I LAY DOWN ON YOUR ALTAR

There is a unique scent that ascends from the heart of one that is desperate for you. May you smell that unique scent emanating out of me. O that my life and all that I do be a sweet fragrance in your nostrils

There is a special sound that comes from the lips of one that is desperate to know you.  May you hear that special sound ringing out of me.   When I lift my hands, When I raise my voice in songs, In Praise and In worship

May the meditations of my heart be Acceptable and well pleasing in your sight.

Lord YOU ARE MY EBENEZER – You are a Rock of help. 1Samuel 7:12

Lord YOU ARE MY EL ROI – You are the God who sees me  Genesis 16:13

You know my heart and see that I am Desperate for you. You are the only one that can remedy my state.  I need you, nothing else will satisfy.

I Hunger and Thirst  for you

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.  The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. Habakkuk 3:17-19

I lay down in your presence without words, yet you hear everything my heart is saying.   You reached into time from eternity’s throne to meet with me.  The honor and privilege of having an audience with you.  In expectancy I wait, listening attentively for your voice, your words and ideas.

You are a vital necessity.  My primary source of sight, direction, counsel and Navigation.   Time spent with you creates the open doors to everything I need.  Intimately we communicate.  Heart to heart, Spirit to Spirit your guidance and insights are precise, providing to me timely reminders.  I say like Daniel that you are a Secret revealer,  uncovering the things that you want me to know.

Lifting me from where I was, you’ve braced me for my next steps.   Arming me with strength for the battle, shutting the mouths of lions and humbling my enemies before me.   O Mighty Ruler, Hallowed be thy name.   Forever you are high and lifted up.  Hail the mighty name of Jesus.
